The RBI Chair Unit at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) was established by the Reserve Bank of India to promote advanced research, policy engagement, and academic excellence in finance, monetary economics, and macro-financial systems. The Unit acts as a knowledge bridge between academia and central banking, contributing evidence-based research and informed analysis to support the policy formulation and decision-making processes of the Reserve Bank of India.
