Admission categories include: JRF Category, Non-JRF Category, Foreign Candidates
Admission is based on a comprehensive evaluation process designed specifically for experienced professionals. This includes Institute Entrance Test and Personal Interview

The Institute publishes admission notifications indicating available seats, eligibility criteria and important dates.

Eligible candidates appear before the Selection Committee for a personal interview and research proposal presentation.

Academic Qualification
Candidates are eligible if they possess any one of the following:

Candidates must possess either:UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) OR Valid UGC-NET qualification (Non-JRF Category)
RESERVATION
A relaxation of 5% marks (or equivalent grade) is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Differently-Abled and EWS candidates as per UGC norms.

Candidates qualified for UGC-JRF are admitted solely on the basis of a Personal Interview.
