About

Santosh is an academic and researcher with expertise in statistical analysis, demographic and public health research—someone who can turn numbers into narratives and data into direction. He has been associated with large-scale national surveys such as the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) and the District Level Household and Facility Survey (DLHS-4). His broader research experience spans survey design, tool development, data validation, and advanced statistical modeling. His research interests include population ageing and maternal and child health, approached through both developmental and statistical lenses (and occasionally through bifocals during long data-cleaning sessions). Passionate about evidence-based policymaking and interdisciplinary collaboration, Santosh is equally comfortable running regression models and running after research deadlines.
