Reddy’s research focuses on policy-relevant issues in India, in the areas of banking and monetary macroeconomics. He has been exploring risks and efficiency in Indian banks and aspects of digital payments, central bank autonomy, monetary policy transmission, and issues in financial inclusion in India. He was a member of the expert committee for the resolution of the Rupee Cooperative Bank, Pune, which was set up by the Board of Administrators (BOA) and GIPE. He has been awarded scholarships from the Reserve Bank of India and the Pondicherry Central University.
