About

Chauhan is a dedicated researcher and teacher serving as an Assistant Professor at the Population Research Centre at Gokhale. He teaches Fertility and Migration at various Master’s programs at GIPE, most notably for the M.Sc. in Population Studies and Health Economics.

He has done seven research studies and has written 11 monitoring & evaluation reports. About 40 papers authored by him have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals/books. His areas of research are public health and nutrition. He loves rummaging through large data sets such as the National Sample Survey, National Family Health Survey, Health Management Information System, Census of India, India Human Development Survey, and the District Health Survey.
