Equilibria - Aarohan'26

The Equilibria Committee is pleased to invite you to Aarohan ’26, our flagship annual policy conference and hackathon, to be held on 30th and 31st January.

Aarohan ’26: The Policy Loophole is a first-of-its-kind platform thatethinks policymaking. Instead of designing policies from scratch, participants will diagnose, debug, and fix gaps within existing policies, engaging deeply with how and why policies fail in practice.

What to expect:

• A two-day policy hackathon and conference
• Critical analysis of real-world public policies
• Stakeholder-based policy framework development
• Structured presentations, debates, and policy challenges
• Interaction with peers, judges, and practitioners

Who should participate:

• Students of economics, public policy, law, political science, development studies
• Members of policy, debating, and research societies
• Young professionals interested in governance, consulting, and social impact
• Anyone curious about how policies work — or fail

No prior policy experience is required — curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to engage are the only prerequisites.
