Talk on 'SDG and Gender Equality: Progress and Gaps'
The United Nations, in its list of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) has given prominence to Gender Equality and Empowerment, which aims at addressing deep-rooted discrimination, violence, and unequal opportunities. Despite some achievements, the legal and social reforms have been slow and much needs to be done.
to throw some light on the progress and expectations in this direction, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is organising a talk on ‘SDG and Gender Equality: Progress and Gaps‘ on March 30, 2026, in the Institute. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Nilangi N. Sardeshpande, Project Head, Kaleidoscope Project of SAHAJ, a prominent NGO working on women’s empowerment. The details of the talk are given below:
