The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), Pune, successfully conducted the Orientation & Training Programme for its ICSSR collaborative research project with the Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Goa. The programme saw active participation from GIM interns and PhD scholars from GIPE. The sessions provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s objectives, research design, and key qualitative approaches. Interns also engaged in discussions on qualitative data analysis and were introduced to the research tools and interview protocols. The programme laid a strong foundation for the forthcoming field-based research and hands-on learning activities under the project.
